This Medical & Information Disclaimer applies to information and services provided by DD Luxe Ltd trading as DD Luxe (“DD Luxe”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1. DD Luxe Is a Non-Clinical Concierge Service
DD Luxe provides non-clinical cosmetic surgery concierge, research, information, introduction, communication and coordination services.
DD Luxe and Dakota Davidson do not claim to be, and must not be regarded as, a registered medical practitioner, nurse, surgeon or other registered health practitioner unless such status is later lawfully obtained and accurately stated.
DD Luxe does not provide medical treatment or clinical care.
2. General Information Only
Information provided by DD Luxe through its website, social media, consultations, communications, educational content or concierge services is general information unless expressly stated otherwise.
It does not:

Diagnose a medical condition.

Establish whether you are clinically or medically suitable for a procedure.

Prescribe treatment or medication.

Replace advice from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

Create informed clinical consent.

Constitute personalised medical advice.
Information provided by DD Luxe should not be relied upon as a substitute for individual assessment and advice from your treating medical practitioner.
3. Clinical Decisions
Only an appropriately qualified treating practitioner can determine whether a procedure is clinically appropriate for you.
Your treating practitioner is responsible for matters including:

Explaining material and personalised risks.

Discussing reasonable alternatives.

Selecting appropriate procedures, techniques, implants, medication or anaesthesia where applicable.

DD Luxe does not make these decisions on behalf of you or your treating Provider.
4. Surgeon and Provider Information
DD Luxe may research, compare, shortlist, introduce or provide information about independent surgeons, clinics, hospitals and other Providers.
The inclusion of a Provider in DD Luxe material, a shortlist or comparison does not guarantee that Provider’s:

Clinical suitability for you.

Safety.
-
Availability.
-
Professional conduct.
-
Facility or practitioner status at a future date.
-
Surgical or aesthetic results.
-
DD Luxe will take reasonable care when making factual representations about Providers.
However, professional registration, qualifications, facility information, pricing, availability and other circumstances can change.
Clients should independently confirm material information and complete an individual consultation with the treating Provider before deciding whether to proceed.
5. Overseas Cosmetic Surgery
Cosmetic surgery performed outside New Zealand may involve additional considerations.
Different countries may have different laws, regulatory systems, professional standards, privacy protections, complaint processes and options for legal redress.
Travel may also introduce additional considerations relating to recovery, follow-up care, complications, insurance, extended stays and returning to New Zealand.
Before proceeding with overseas cosmetic surgery, you should:

Obtain an individual clinical assessment.

Confirm the current status and credentials of your treating practitioner and relevant facility.

Understand your Provider’s aftercare and complication pathway.
-
Understand the material risks and alternatives explained by your treating practitioner.

Consider obtaining independent medical advice in New Zealand where appropriate.

Consider appropriate travel insurance and understand relevant exclusions.

6. Before-and-After Images and Results
Before-and-after photographs, testimonials, case studies and other examples of outcomes represent individual experiences.
Individual results vary.
They should not be interpreted as a promise, prediction or guarantee that you will achieve the same or a similar result.
Your anatomy, health, procedure, treating practitioner, recovery and other individual circumstances can affect outcomes.
7. Prices and Quotes
Prices displayed or discussed by DD Luxe may be indicative only unless expressly identified as a confirmed quote.
Provider pricing can change and may exclude additional costs such as consultations, tests, medication, anaesthesia, hospital fees, garments, additional treatment, complications, extended accommodation, travel or aftercare.
You should obtain and review a written quote from the relevant Provider and understand what is and is not included before making payment or proceeding.
8. Travel and Insurance Information
Any travel, accommodation or insurance information provided by DD Luxe as part of its concierge services does not constitute financial, insurance, immigration or legal advice.
DD Luxe does not guarantee that an insurance policy will cover cosmetic surgery, complications, cancellations, additional treatment or changes to travel.
Clients are responsible for reviewing policy terms and confirming appropriate coverage directly with the relevant insurer.
9. Emergencies and Medical Concerns
DD Luxe is not an emergency medical service.
If you experience serious, unexpected or worsening symptoms before or after a procedure, contact your treating medical team or an appropriate health service.
For a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service in the country where you are located.
In New Zealand, call 111 in an emergency.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable New Zealand law.
DD Luxe remains responsible for its own services, representations, contractual obligations and requirement to exercise reasonable care and skill.
